About

David & Laraine Jewell welcome you to our peaceful and rural CL site, lying in the horseshoe bend of the River Severn.  We have been running our 1 acre site for 40 years.  It is surrounded by our working arable farm and there are several footpaths leading from the site, some of which lead to the Severn Way and the Arlingham Walks. The Severn/ Thames and the Gloucester/Sharpness Canals are also a short drive away.

The site is for Caravan Club members only and is restricted to 5 caravans/motorhomes at any one time (rallies by arrangement). Recent service bollards have been installed so your own electric hook up, water and grey water points are spaced around the site.  WIFI is available free of charge. The site is well drained with mowed grass and some hardstanding.

You may wish to fish in our well stocked lake or just enjoy a stroll. Perhaps you will also catch a glimpse of the many birds that can be seen.

The village of Arlingham is within walking distance of the site. It has a good local pub, www.redlionarlingham.co.uk and an excellent fish restaurant, www.theoldpassage.com.  St Mary’s (C of E) Church in Arlingham holds regular services.

There is a daily bus service to Gloucester from the village.  Arlingham is 10mins drive from the M5 (junction 13). We are well positioned to visit Cheltenham, Stroud, Gloucester and of course, Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust.
